Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 2007 and in 2011 she got her Doctor in Medicine degree, Cum Laude, from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. She did her Internal Medicine Residency program at the Hopsital Universitario Ramon Ruiz Arnau where she became Chief Resident in 2015, and an Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at VA Caribbean Health System in 2015 where she also became Chief Resident. Dr. Marcano has years of experience in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and has participated in researches and publications. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
