Russell Jackson, PA-C, DMS-C, is a dedicated healthcare provider with a passion for serving underserved communities. His journey in medicine began in 2008 when he enlisted in the United States Army Reserve as a combat medic, where he served until 2018. His early experience in the military sparked his love for medicine and solidified his commitment to helping others.

In 2016, Russell graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Education. He then worked at the VA Hospital from 2017 to 2019, gaining hands-on experience as a health technician in both the medical-surgical ward and the emergency room. His passion for advancing his medical expertise led him to pursue a Physician Assistant program at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where he studied from 2019 to 2021.

In 2024, Russell completed his Doctorate of Medical Science, building on his clinical expertise with in-depth research on the long-term psychological effects of hormone replacement therapy in transgender individuals. With over 10,000 hours of direct patient care experience, he has worked with diverse and multicultural populations, which has further fueled his dedication to providing equitable care.

Russell’s approach to medicine is grounded in patient-centered care, where he emphasizes active listening and shared decision-making to ensure that each patient’s unique needs are met. He believes in using a risk-based stratification model to guide treatment, with a strong commitment to building confidential, trusting relationships with his patients. His goal is to optimize health outcomes and improve the quality of life for everyone he serves, particularly those in underserved communities.
