Alex Guzman Garcia is a physician assistant with a lifelong passion for fitness and health. His journey began at Arizona State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and worked for several years as a fitness trainer and group fitness instructor, helping many clients reach their health and wellness goals.
He went on to complete his Master of Physician Assistant Science at St. Francis University and later earned a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree from Southern Illinois University. During his doctoral program, his dedication to fitness and health led him to conduct in-depth research on pharmacologic treatments and their effectiveness in overweight and obese children.
Since 2012, Alex has had the privilege of caring for patients at Clínica La Familia, managing a wide variety of medical conditions. In addition to his clinical work, he continues to teach fitness classes in the community, supporting his mission to help build a stronger and healthier population.
